Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of building systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure optimal performance.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
Repair and replace equipment, fixtures, and parts as needed.
Troubleshoot malfunctions, diagnose problems, and propose effective solutions.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate larger projects and facility upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Assist in maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in facilities maintenance is a plus.
Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
