Lighthouse Restaurant Bartender
Major Functions:
To mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to bar patrons according to standard recipes.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and courteous food & beverage service to guests while maximizing sales volume.
Must upsell food and beverage items
Qualifications:
Must have strong organizational, time management and mathematical skillsMust be fluent in English and demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly with guests and co-workers.
Must be willing to pitch-inEUR and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Must have basic knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits and be familiar with menu itemsInteracts verbally with all guests, creating a service oriented and upbeat atmosphereKnowledge of MICROS Helpful, but not required.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must demonstrate the ability to upsell and drive revenue.
Must have a minimum of 3 years bartending experience in a high volume club or barAbility to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and making sound decisions.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and cordial behaviorFlexible working hoursRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouchingMust complete state specific (Delaware) ABC or Comparable TrainingEssential Tasks:
Prepares beverages according to established recipes and standards to ensure consistencyInteracts verbally with all guests, creating a service oriented and upbeat atmosphereEnsures customer and server requests are completed in a courteous manner based on our standards.
Maintain clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and aesthetic standardsSet up bar according to established standardRestock and replenish bars according to standardNotify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired customers.
Responsible for checking IDs of all guests when in question, and not serving guests with no valid ID.
Complies with all established F&B standardsMust be able to suspend service to intoxicated individuals in accordance with Delaware lawExecute other duties as assigned by management Looking for YEAR ROUND bartenders Miscellaneous:
