The Big Fish Restaurant Group is now actively recruiting a responsible full-time Market Counter Attendant to join our exceptional hospitality team for the 2014 season!
The ideal Market Counter Attendant requires an individual who is punctual, attentive to detail, reliable, and above all -- friendly. Candidates should be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at all times with all levels of employees. The Market Counter Attendant is genuinely happy to provide outstanding service to all of our guests in a professional and upbeat fashion. He/She is responsible for answering phones, entering orders on the computer, using a register and scanner, processing cash and credit card transactions, taking carry-out orders, bagging orders correctly and accommodating guest requests all in a friendly, fast, accurate and efficient manner. Our market is exceptionally clean, well run, and we as a team always strive to exceed the expectations of all our guests. Our Market Counter Attendant is of the utmost importance because He/She is the first to greet each and every guest and make a lasting first impression. The Market Counter Attendant would also be responsible for:
o Cut fish, weigh and pack up additional seafood/fresh market items according to the guests specifications.
o Must keep the market clean and organized at all times.
o Stock shelves and mark prices on shelf items.
o Seasonally, this position will also run food and buss tables.
o Maintain a professional appearance throughout the course of the shift.
o Be happy, keep a positive attitude and have FUN!!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
