The Big Fish Restaurant Group is now actively recruiting a Host/Hostess to join our exceptional hospitality team.
The ideal Restaurant Host/Hostess is an individual who is punctual, attentive to detail, reliable,and above all -- friendly. The Host/Hostess supervises and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure fast and courteous service to our guests. He/She works with the management team to schedule dining room reservations, arranges parties, special events, and/or special services for our guests. Our restaurant is exceptionally clean, organized, well run, and we as a team strive to exceed the expectations of our guests. Our Host/Hostess is of the utmost importance because He/She is the first to greet each and every guest and make a lasting first impression. A Host/Hostess would also be responsible for:
o Receives and records patrons' dining reservations
o Greets guests promptly with a warm and friendly smile
o Seats guests accordingly throughout the dining room
o Help in the training of new hosts
o Being polite and friendly to guests and fellow team members no matter what the circumstance
o Maintains contact with management, serving staff and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly and guests' concerns are promptly addressed
o Takes direction from management
o Provide each guest/patron a thankful gesture for patronizing the establishment upon departure
o Knowledge of menu, able to ring in to go orders, sell gift cards and process transactions on the computer
o Be able to assist with any guests needs
o Be happy, keep a positive attitude and have FUN!!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
